Dr Victor Shola Akinsooto is a Royal College of Physician & Surgeons of Canada certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Fertility Specialist.
He started his medical education at University of Ilorin where he obtained the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree. After his residency at University of Natal, he was admitted as a Fellow of the South African College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Following his Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology, he had a 2 year subspecialty fellowship in Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at McMaster University.
Dr Akinsooto is passionate about reproductive care, as well as the rights of women and men affected by infertility. His interests include Reproductive Endocrinology, polycystic ovarian syndrome, ovarian insufficiency, Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), ART laboratory Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
He is skilled in laparoscopic reproductive surgery, and is active in teaching and continued medical education. He has presented at various national and international conferences, and his research works have been published in peer reviewed Journals.
Membership of professional societies include Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS), American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC) and Kitchener Waterloo Academy of Medicine.
He is an associate staff of Hamilton Health Sciences, and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at McMaster University.
Michael Neal, BSc(Hons), MSc

Michael Neal is a Co-founding Partner and the Scientific Director of ONE Fertility. He completed his Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph, focusing on the reproductive consequences of chromosome abnormalities.
His career in Human IVF started by working in a private clinic in Toronto, and he has since worked as a Laboratory Manager in public and private clinics from 2000.
Michael Neal’s experience in clinical Assisted Reproductive Technologies and his keen research interests have gained him an international reputation for innovation and excellence. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications and is a frequent reviewer for many major scientific journals related to reproduction.
He is a recipient of the prestigious Laboratory Innovation in Fertility and Embryology (LIFE) Award. Other honours include: Best Basic Science Paper, Best Clinical Paper, Alpha Exchange, and the R.T. Weaver Award, among other acknowledgements.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Mike has research interests in the following areas: (a) the effect of environmental contaminants on fertility, (b) non-invasive measurements of embryo quality, and (c) fertility preservation for male and female oncology patients.
Mike is a member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS); the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM); International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP); European Society of Human Reproduction and Endocrinology (ESHRE).
He is a past executive member of the ART Lab SIG and CFAS Board of Directors and is also on the Advisory Board of Fertile Future, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping cancer patients preserve their fertility.
Mike is actively involved with Fertility Preservation initiatives. He currently sits on the POGO Sperm Cryopreservation task force, and the Ontario Oncofertility Committee and is frequent contributor to the Cancer Knowledge Network.
