Many factors may contribute to difficulty conceiving for either partner. At ONE Fertility Kitchener Waterloo, we like to assess both partners to determine the best treatment for the best outcome possible. This includes both male and female testing to ensure proper treatment is provided.
Things you can do prior to treatment:
- Address lifestyle factors
- Smoking cessation program
- Weight loss program
- Address any alcohol or drug issues
- Discuss appropriate timing of intercourse in the days prior to ovulation
- Discuss ovulation predictor kits
- Encourage Folic Acid supplementation (5mg daily if risk occurs)
