Cycle Monitoring

What is Cycle Monitoring (CM)?

Cycle monitoring involves having tras-vaginal ultrasounds and blood tests at frequent intervals throughout the cycle. This monitoring will be done at ONE Fertility.

The monitoring includes tracking the levels of your hormones in your blood, the thickness of the lining of your uterus, and the size of your follicles (eggs). Once you have a mature follicle and a measurable LH (luteinizing hormone), we will book you for your insemination the next day or instruct you to begin having intercourse daily, for 2 – 3 days.

If a follicle is mature, but your LH has not surged, we may recommend a medication that will cause your ovary to release your egg in a timely manner. This medication is stocked in the clinic for your convenience.
